Rickey Named Official Washington DC Cockail

Through Charlie Adler comes the news that the Rickey has been named the official cocktail of Washington DC.

What is in a Rickey:

Ingredients:
2 oz gin
juice of 1 lime
club soda
lime wedge for garnish

Preparation:
Squeeze ½ of a lime into glass.
Put the squeezed lime in the glass.
Add the gin.
Fill a highball glass with ice.
Top with club soda.
Garnish with a lime wedge.
