Final Entries

Our last few entries for our 47 word contest:

From reader P.M:
It takes a great State to produce great wines. With  character shaped by the land itself,  rolling mountains and winding rivers, Virginia wines are world competitors.  Having set down roots in rich soil  and sent out tendrils of lush grape varieties, Virginia wines astonish.  LOVE the Raspberry Merlot.

From reader J.H:
Vintage variations are exciting, four seasons create balance, varying terroirs create intrigue, youthful experimentation creates profound successes, recent focus is creating benchmarks.  Challenge is what creates strength and future consistency, cooperation can create ever increasing quality, support creates enthusiasm.  Virginia wine is created from all off these.

From reader H.W:
Thomas Jefferson was the nation's founding wine critic. He knew then that Virginia has a climate similar to other great wine regions. It took 200 years to figure it out. Like our Founding Fathers the first Virginia winemakers experimented and are making great wine with mass appeal.
