The last bit of preparation we had to do before the big Wine & Chocolate Fundraiser today was pair the wines from Tarara with appropriate chocolates.
Because Jordan never does anything halfway, he is pouring his 2008 TerraNova red blend and 2010 Fumé Blanc. These are special reserve wines that they don't pour in the tasting room! The TerraNova was a perfect match for the Dark Chocolate Truffle while the acidity of the Fumé Blanc paired very well with the salted caramel truffle!
Today should be a great event and the weather is shaping up nicely!
